E-privacy and ID theft concerns dominate consumer perspectives when conducting online transactions. In a related article, MSNBC reports on extensive credit card fraud complaints involving PayPal, the dominant force in Internet transaction payment systems. PayPal is the subject of class action lawsuits, and merged with eBay in October, 2002.
