Global Terrorism Report Incorrectly Documented Drop in Number of Attacks
Patterns of Global Terrorism 2003, a report released by the Secretary of State on April 29, will undergo revisions to correct inaccurate and incomplete data. The data was compiled by the Terrorist Threat Integration Center.
From the June 14 State Department Daily Press Briefing statement by spokesman Richard Boucher: "Whether we put out a whole revised report or some other way of doing it hasn't quite been decided yet, but I think we want to make it a clear part of the record and a clear statement of what the numbers are, the correct numbers are, and what the analysis should be."
