New Study Estimates Cost of National Health Information Network

As indicated in a new article published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, (abstract is available free), the cost of implementing the National Health Information Network (NIHN) would be “$156 billion in capital investment over 5 years and $48 billion in annual operating costs.”
