Publisher Sues Financial Services Firm for Copyright Violation

A decision from the U.S. District Court, Maryland, July 10, Lowry’s Reports v. Legg Mason, found that the financial services firm had violated copyright terms stipulated by its subscription to Lowry’s report, through the ongoing distribution of the publication’s content on the company’s firm-wide intranet and via e-mail.
