Report Recommends a Credible Threat of Military Force to Stop Iran’s Nuclear Development

“The Bipartisan Policy Center’s (BPC) National Security Project released its fourth report on Iran’s nuclear development urging the United States to immediately adopt a triple-track strategy that simultaneously pursues diplomacy, tough sanctions and credible, visible preparations for military action on the part of the United States or Israel. According to the report, Meeting the Challenge: Stopping the Clock – U.S. Policy toward Iranian Nuclear Development, co-authored by a 13-member bipartisan task force of prominent experts co-chaired by former Senator Chuck Robb and retired General Charles Wald, the best hope for a peaceful, diplomatic solution is for the U.S. to show its resolve in doing whatever is necessary to prevent a nuclear Iran, including taking military action.”
