How to Opt Out of Twitter’s New Privacy Settings

Follow up to previous posting – Twitter drops ‘Do Not Track’ privacy protection – via EFF, guidance on how to restore your privacy when using Twitter – “concerned users have to click “Review settings” to opt out of Twitter’s new mechanisms for user tracking. That will bring you to the “Personalization and Data” section of your settings. Here, you can pick and chose the personalization, data collection, and data sharing you will allow—or, click “Disable all” in the top-right corner to opt out entirely…” EFF provides screen shots and specific instructions on how to navigate through the new challenges created by Twitter.
