  • EWG’s Guide to Reduce Cell Phone Radiation Exposure: “Cell phones emit radiation to send voice and text messages to the other caller. Health risks aren’t confirmed, but some (not all) studies of frequent cell phone users suggest increased risks for brain and mouth tumors and children’s behavior problems.”

  • Best and Worst Phones: “Listing is based on phones currently available from major carriers. You can also see all available phones or all phones (current and legacy) ranked by radiation…You can also see all PDAs/Smartphones ranked by radiation.”
  • Caution on cell phone use: “An international group of 23 prominent doctors and public health researchers and officials is warning that cell phone use may increase the risk of brain cancer. One of those who signed, Dr. Ronald Herberman, the head of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, went so far as to advise his own employees to limit cell phone use. The actions will likely add to a long-running debate on which there is little consensus among medical authorities.”
