“IEA released a new study on research, development and demonstration (RD&D) spending needs for the low-carbon technologies being targeted by the Major Economies Forum on Energy & Climate Change. The study finds that while public RD&D investments have increased recently as a result of green stimulus funding, government RD&D investments will need to rise 3-10 times todays spending levels to achieve global climate change goals.”
