The eight highest-paying jobs in America are in the fields of medicine or dentistry, according to an On Numbers analysis of compensation statistics for 801 occupations. Click here for a sortable database of salary figures from top to bottom. At the head of the list are surgeons, who earn an average of $219,770 per year, followed by anesthesiologists at $211,750.”
