CRS Memo on Medicare Cost Data Denied to Congress

According to the New York Times, a nine page CRS memo released on May 3 (anyone have a link?) states that when a federal government actuary was directed to withhold data from Congress on the actual cost of the new medicare program, this conduct “would appear to violate a specific and express prohibition of federal law.”
