Funding for the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is targeted to be eliminated in Trump’s new budget proposal, among a group of 19 agencies deemed to be unnecessary that focus on the arts, humanities, libraries, museums, economic development in Appalachia, and peace. On the list of NEH’s current publication are 6 prize winning books on history.
