Follow-up to February 22, 2007 posting, New Report Shows No Precedent for Mass U.S. Attorney Firings, the Senate Committee on the Judiciary has scheduled a hearing on Part II–Preserving Prosecutorial Independence: Is the Department of Justice Politicizing the Hiring and Firing of U.S. Attorneys? for Tuesday, March 6, 2007.
